Handmade Keepsake Jewelry Box 

This keepsake box is approx. 3-1/2" wide, by 4-3/4" tall, with an interior that is 1-3/4" wide by 2-1/2" tall. Made from our farms own spalted maple.

Each box is individually hand turned on our wood lathe using traditional tooling and finished with a blend of natural food safe oils. You will find that each piece is completely unique, handmade with care directly from our forest to finished polished piece, now ready to hold you treasures.

The wood these boxes are made of comes from responsibly harvested spalted bog maple. Each log is collected to thin our farms forest land which promotes new growth, carbon capture and canopy disruption - canopy disruption breaks up uniform, dense forest to create a dynamic habitat for native birds, ultimately supporting greater diversity and species richness, it also gives young native trees and plants much needed sunlight building a healthy diverse forest. -  Each log is stored in our resident bog for 2 years prior to being worked to allow natural spalting to develop. This results in the beautiful dark lines of contrast that run through the maple wood.  With a little patience we get to shape a piece of wood that is a natural work of art all in its own.
