Orders are open for summer pastured pork half and whole hogs! We've booked our first butcher date, July 2025!

Half and whole hog orders get you our best possible price on our premium quality pasture raised local pork. Our Kunekune heritage breed hogs are known for there premium succulent meat unlike any other pork, and is often referred to as the waygu of pork. Check out our additional information in the drop down menus! 

7.50/lb Half or Whole Pig (This price is based on the pigs hanging weight)

Hogs can be purchased uncut for those looking to make their own cuts or do an epic full or half hog spit or barbecue for a party sure to have everyone talking!

Hogs can also be cut and wrapped by our local certified butcher. Butcher fees are an additional 1.25/lb to cut and wrap in your choice of fresh cuts.

Smoking and specialty preparations are additional butchers fee if desired for ham/bacon and sausages and require a second pick up.

Based on our last round the expected weight will be approximately 120-170lb per whole hog and 60-85lbs per half. We expect cuts will be ready mid-late July based on the butchers cut window.

To pre-order your Half Pig a deposit is required, and pickup is required day of. (We will email you when we get word from the butcher that the cuts are ready.) For those interested in placing orders we have additional information sheets, cut sheets and order confirmations sheets that you will receive by email.

If you request products that require brining or smoking (ham & bacon) those products require additional time to prepare, expected for pickup mid-August.

Your purchase gets you a truly amazing pork but also supports our local family owned and operated regenerative farm, which in turn supports the local economy and our local environment!

What makes Kune Kune Unique?

Kune Kune is a premium quality pork, know as the wagyu of pork! The pork is a deep red colour and packed with flavour. Kunekune's are a slow growing pig allowing them to thrive on low calorie high nutrition feed.

Kunekune pork has more fat than conventional breeds as well as smaller cuts, but the flavour is unmatched with interstitial marbling, their fat has a sweet flavour that adds richness and can even go unseasoned with the fat drawing incredible flavour throughout. 

Nutritionally KuneKune meat contains higher levels of anti-inflammatory omega-3 fatty acids compared to standard pork.

A great source of protein, iron, zinc, and B vitamins.

If you have ever driven past our farm you can see the pigs out grazing, or lazing in the sun or pig pools. Being social animals they are never isolated, raised together in groups on rotating pasture for optimal nutrition, health, and quality of life.
